Film Submission
How do I submit my film to Filmatic?
Log in to your account, navigate to the submit film page, and use the film submission form. Once submitted, your film will be reviewed for approval.
What types of films can I submit?
Filmatic accepts independent films of all genres, including short films, documentaries, and experimental works. All submissions go through an application process before going live on the site.
What is the approval process for submitted films?
Once submitted, films undergo a review process to ensure they meet our quality standards and content guidelines. You’ll be notified of the status via email, and approved films will be featured on the platform.
Studio Features
What can I do in the Studio?
The Studio lets you manage your films, update details, track analytics, and use referral tools to promote your work. Learn more in the Studio Documentation.
How do I edit my film details?
In the Studio, click the pencil icon next to your film. From there, you can update information like runtime, synopsis, and more.
Analytics
What analytics are available for my films?
Filmatic provides insights such as views, unique views, watch time, CTR, and average view duration. Use these metrics to refine your promotional strategies. Learn more on the analytics page.
How do I access analytics?
Go to the Studio and click on the "Analytics" section for any of your films. Dive into detailed metrics over time to measure performance.
Discovery Features
What is the Crew Discovery feature?
Crew Discovery showcases profiles for all contributors to a film, from directors to extras. Each profile includes filmography and other details to enhance discoverability. Learn more about the discovery system here.
How does the referral system work?
Each film has a unique referral ID that crew members can use to claim their profiles. Directors can share these IDs with their crew, enabling them to link their profiles to the film and enhance their discoverability.

Can I update my profile after claiming it?
Yes, once claimed, you can update your bio, contact details, and other information via the "Edit Profile" button.
How do I unclaim my profile?
Navigate to the "Edit Profile" section and select "Unclaim Profile." This will reset your claim and unlink your account.
